1936 Elto Ace SOLD 2/19/2016

This is an aesthetically restored 1936 elto ace 1.1 hp...as you can see in the pictures, practically the whole motor is polished. The only thing that is not polished is the case and cylinder which was powder coated silver so this little thing shines. It is really beautiful. It does not turn over. Everything on the motor was taken apart and either polished or powder coated. I got a new reproduction tiller handle for it as well.

It is a piece of Americana and folk art that any guy can appreciate. This is being sold as a display piece although I'm sure it would not take much to get it running again as these old motors are pretty simple. I bought this particular motor in horrible shape. The magneto plate's timing handle was broken off, the exhaust tube was mangled, and the tiller handle was snapped off. I found parts for it and saved it from being scrapped. The cylinder must be stuck so it is being sold as a display piece and is taking on a new life. 

The tank has a ding near the gas cap and a small dent on the lower right but I decided to leave it in its unmolested state and just pain the tank. The decal was heat applied. I want to make sure the person who buys this motor is 100% satisfied.
